John Beresford. UKPGE Election Agent, Bournemouth West constituency.
Allows volunteers to walk door-to-door with advance resident info, and easily input any voter intention. No need for paper canvassing sheets.
Data is loaded in from the local UK electoral register.
Canvassers are allocated specific streets by the Administrator. They do NOT have access to data from any other part of the constituency.
Admin users have access to all data at HQ and can see instant reports by Ward or Constituency. These are colour-coded pie charts and can be exported as CSV files for offline storage if required.
Admin can create custom filtered reports to suit the campaign.
System works on all smartphones, and is very easy to use.
Canvassing.info is a system that enables your party volunteers to quickly record crucial election information. They are allocated specific streets by the campaign admin, and sent out in teams or individually as normal.
Then, after speaking to registered voters on their list, they use the simple interface to record a range of voting options including requests for leaflets, garden signs or questions directly for the candidate.

Yes. The site is developed using the Bootstrap framework which is the world’s most popular HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for developing responsive, mobile-first web sites. This means you can use Canvassing.info perfectly on a mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad, as well as other Android devices.
The prices stated on the home page are exclusive of VAT, which will be applied at the standard UK rate of 20%. Inclusive prices (as May 2022) are:
Monthly £379 pcm
Annual £1097 pcm
These prices are based on a single UK Parliamentary constituency. Other prices are available for Town Council / Local elections.
We cannot give a fixed price for this until we have seen a copy of the Electoral role for your constituency. (Please note, we are registered with the Information Commissioner. We have notified the ICO, our data protection number is Z2907170).
This is because in most UK councils, the Electoral Register is compiled over many months by a team of employees. Consequently the data is usually inconsistent in its formatting and presentation, and can require several hours work to get the data into the correct cells.
For Annual plans we absorb this cost and include the data upload as standard. For monthly plans we will give you a fixed quote at the start for the extra development.
Both Annual and Monthly plans include Electoral role updates as they are produced and sent to us for upload.
The site is hosted in one of two UK data centres located on the Manchester Technopark on the periphery of Manchester City Centre. The data centre facilities are totally secure, fully air conditioned with redundant power supplies and are fully supported 24/7 by an on-site Network Operations Team
Canvassing.info is developed by South˚. We are registered with the Information Commissioner. We have notified the ICO and our data protection number is Z2907170. All data connections are across SSL using a 256bit key from Comodo with an AES 256bit encryption algorithm. We backup to a secure offsite location using R1Soft, which offers continuous data protection only backing up what has changed – but results in full restore points at any one time. Backups are taken daily at 9AM and 10 of these are retained, with 8 weekly archives – so we have backups every day for 10 days ago and 8 weeks worth of backups available.
